Role Overview: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with both teachers and students to create a nurturing environment that promotes learning and personal development for students with diverse needs.
Your role will be crucial in facilitating their access to the curriculum and engaging them meaningfully in their education.
Key Responsibilities: Support teachers in planning and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, adapting activities to meet their needs.
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued.
Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback and insight to the teaching staff.
Assist with behavior management strategies and promote positive social interactions.
Collaborate with parents, therapists, and other professionals to support students' learning.
Engage in ongoing professional development to refine skills and strategies in supporting SEN students.

Requirements Relevant qualifications in Special Education, Child Development, or related fields.
Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
