SEN Teaching Assistant - Temporary full-time position I am looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant for a school in Preston, starting on 04/11/2024. A small, family-feel primary SEN School based on the outskirts of Preston are looking for a passionate support assistant to join them on a full-time temporay basis. The school caters for children aged 4-12 with additional needs, mainly Autism.
The school is set in 8 acres of landscape gardens that include its own woodland trails through orchards and vegetable patches, the pupils enjoy exploring the mini beast and wildlife in the ponds and woodland surrounding the schools.
The school also ideally located to take advantage of local sports centrex, swimming pools, zoo's and leisure facilities for weekly trips out.
The school view each child as a true individual with their own strengths, aspirations, interests and areas that they need to personally develop.
If you posses any of the following, please reach out! - Experience supporting children or adults, not necesarily in an educational setting.
- Experience as a health care assistant or support worker.
- Confidnece supporting children with special educational needs.
- Confidence providing personal care.
Key Duties- - Providing academic support to pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Quickly build positive relationships with students.
- Support pupils with engagement and encourage pupils to be involved.
