Teaching personnel are looking for a SEN Teaching assistant to help support the teaching staff to develop and provide quality learning for pupils with special education needs.
This will range from a wide variety of physical, emotional and behavioural needs, you will help to encourage pupils to be engaged and interested to make them feel safe and happy in a learning environment.

Main roles and responsibilities - Help assist the lead teacher enable each pupil to access their curriculum.
Engage with playground activities.
Support and encourage the development of pupil's education.
Look after pupils physical, emotional and social welfare.
Keep records and attend review meetings.
Communicate with parents and guardians.
1:1, 2:1 and 3:1 support.
Ensure childrens saftey at all times.
Key skills and requirements - Have experience working with SEN pupils.
Friendly and compassionate.
Patient.
Resilient.
Sensitivity and understanding.
Understanding SEN needs.
Excellent verbal communication.
Confident working in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.

Salary - £20,000 – £27,000 (£80 -£100 per day) depending on experience.
