Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Overton School, Ludlow, Shropshire Salary: £22,300 per annum with a Welcome Bonus of £2000** Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm Contract: Permanent, Term Time only Become a Teaching Assistant at Overton School, part of Options Autism and start working towards yours.
Who we are looking for We would love to hear from candidates who have their GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Math.
If you come from hospitality, the army, outdoor activity centres or an office-based job but are eager to help vulnerable pupils and young people to live happy, fulfilling lives, this is the role for you.
We will provide you with full training and development to succeed within your role.
You will be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside according to individual need.
Taking a responsive and caring approach, you may be running classroom activities, leading outdoor experiences or supervising pupils as they explore further afield.

About Us Overton School provides specialist care and education for young people aged.
We are located in the beautiful Shropshire countryside on the periphery of the market town of Ludlow.
The school is situated in a large characterful Victorian building sensitively adapted to meet the varying needs of our young people.
Our school offers a modern education block with dedicated academic and vocational learning spaces which compliments the school's capacity for providing high quality care and learning where students are supported to enjoy and achieve.
Our school provides specialist education for students, aged 11 – 19 having a range of complex needs including ASC, SLD, MLD in addition to impaired social or cognitive functioning due to early life trauma and attachment difficulties.
For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
