Local Schools in Hull and the surrounding areas - Work in a variety of Primary Schools across the Hull area, where you'll positively impact children's learning and development.
Professional Development - Gain valuable experience in diverse settings and benefit from continuous professional development opportunities to further your expertise within Primary Schools and working with SEN children.

Experience working with SEN children or within a similar setting - This is essential so you're able to provide the best possible support to children with a range of needs.Key responsibilities Provide 1:1 and group support to students with a range of SEN needs (such as ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties) Assist teachers with planning, organising, and implementing lessons tailored to individual needs Foster a supportive and positive environment, encouraging students' confidence, social skills, and engagement Help monitor and assess student progress, reporting back to the teacher or SEN coordinator Support students' emotional and social development, addressing any behavioural challenges as they arise Assist with classroom activities and practical tasks, ensuring a safe and inclusive setting Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents, offering feedback as neededRequirements Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with SEN experience A passion for supporting children with SEN and helping them thrive in their education Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to student needs Flexibility to work varying hours and adapt to different classroom settings Relevant qualifications in SEN or Teaching Assistant An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)If you are a patient, caring, and motivated individual with a passion for supporting SEN students, we would love to hear from you
