Teaching Personnel are looking for resilient , passionate, full-time Teaching Assistants to support SEN Schools in Ripon .
You will be classroom based, supporting children with additional needs including but not limited to: ASC, ADHD, behavioural challenges.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting additional needs in a school setting. Main Duties: To be responsible for the safety of children by exercising adequate support and supervision Support the Class Teacher with resources and general classroom activities Record pupil progress and behaviour Personal care (feeding, changing, toileting) Enhance the social, emotional and mental health of children Requirements: Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident We do not accept those on skilled worker visas Minimum of three months UK residency Have an overseas criminal clearance (if applicable) or willing to apply for one Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment If you are interested in applying or finding out more then please apply with your most recent CV.
