SEN Teaching Assistant | Greenwich SE18 | Payscale: £85-£105 | Long-term to Permanent Start Date: January 2025 Are you motivated to make an important impact in the lives of young learners?
Long Term Futures is looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join a Primary school in Greenwich (SE18) as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant.
The perfect candidate will be joining a positive learning environment and providing 1:1 and general classroom support to students in year 2.
As a SEN TA, your role will include: Assist in a wide range of classroom activities.
(Reading, writing, phonics, games etcetera.)
Supervise the classroom always ensuring the safety of young students.
Collaborate with class teachers and other members of staff to ensure ongoing learning and social development amongst all children in the classroom.
Design and set up engaging and creative learning and play areas.
Ensure participation amongst all students ensuring positive behaviour strategies.
Criteria: Level 3 TA Qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a primary school environment or with children with special educational needs is desirable.
Patient and empathetic personality and ability to build strong relationships with students.
