SEN Teaching Assistant | Job Summary Full-time term time only SEN Teaching Assistant role | Long term contract until July 2025 Work alongside qualified SEND professionals, Specialist Teachers and Educational Psychologists and learn first hand Role Paying £420-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis Minimum 2:1 Psychology related degree from a top 20 UK university Previous experience working with children with SEND is essential SEN Teaching Assistant | Job Role Support small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis in a mainstream classroom and in a specialist SEN provision Have a calming and nurturing nature around vulnerable children Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the students, guaranteeing a safe environment for all children Assist in managing classroom behaviour and supporting students learning in build independence SEN Teaching Assistant | School Details This SEN Teaching Assistant role is based in a Secondary School in the heart of Tower Hamlets where the learning is second to none.
