About the Role We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Ellesmere Port.
This is an incredible opportunity to support students with a variety of learning needs, providing one-on-one and small group support tailored to helping them succeed.
You'll work alongside talented teaching staff, specialists, and a supportive team to deliver engaging, meaningful assistance to students with SEN. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and emotional or behavioural challenges.
Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to create and implement individualized support plans.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere, encouraging students' confidence and independence.
Assist with classroom management and provide help with day-to-day tasks, ensuring students receive the care and support they need to thrive.
Monitor and track students' progress, adapting support techniques to meet individual needs.
What We're Looking For: Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference in students' lives.
Experience working with children or young adults with SEN is ideal, but not essential—your enthusiasm and willingness to learn are what matter most!
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
Resilience, patience, and a positive, proactive approach to tackling challenges in the classroom.
