Previous experience as a; teaching assistant, care worker, support worker, coach, any relevant voluntary role or personal expereince supporting people with additional needs is required.
We currently require a full time teaching assistant for our SEN school in Corby, to start as soon as possible.
Following a successful probationary period there is an opportunity to become a permanent member of staff with the school.
This particular school support primary and secondary aged pupils with social emotional and mental health needs.
The position will require you to support Monday to Friday during term time.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to further their career within education and gain valuable experience whilst making a difference to the lives of others.  Role and Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with Social, emotional and mental health needs, ensuring their educational needs are met.
Assist in the implementation of Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and adapt teaching materials to meet the students' needs.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Requirements: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
