Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Halifax Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £12.85 - £15.00 Per hour Job Description Job Duties: Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development Assisting classroom teachers in implementing individual education plans for students Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN Education: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable) Experience: Experience working in an educational setting Experience supporting individuals with special educational needs Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Additional training in SEN support Working Conditions: Work in a school setting, supporting students with SEN Full-time hours, temporary position Potential for training and professional development opportunities All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
