Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant Location: Brighton and Hove Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (Monday to Friday) We are looking for compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a day-to-day basis across various schools in Brighton and Hove.

Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one or small group support to children with special educational needs, ensuring their well-being and academic progress.
Assist class teachers in implementing tailored educational plans and managing classroom activities.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Support students with emotional, social, and behavioural needs in line with their individual learning plans.
Adapt learning materials and activities to meet the specific needs of the children you are supporting.
Requirements: Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN), is highly desirable.
A patient, caring, and empathetic attitude.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
