Job Advert: SEN Teaching Assistant (Reception) Location: Bedford Position: Full-Time, Permanent Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs?
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our primary school team in Bedford, working specifically with a Reception student.
Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support to a Reception student with special educational needs, fostering their learning and development.
Assist in implementing personalised learning plans and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement.
Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals to monitor progress and share feedback.
Support the student during lessons, playtime, and other school activities.
Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs (preferred).
A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
