SEN Teaching Assistant - Ashford Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Ashford Salary: £83 - £89 per day (depending on experience) Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-Time Start Date: Immediate Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs?
GSL Education are seeking a Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-Time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school community in Ashford .
This rewarding role requires applicants to have their own transport and a valid driver's licence.
About the Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant , you will provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.
Working closely with the teaching team, you'll play a vital role in creating an inclusive classroom experience.
Responsibilities: Support students with their learning on a 1:1 or small group basis.
Help to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Assist with classroom activities and adapt resources to suit individual learning needs.
Monitor and report student progress to the SENCO and class teacher.
Requirements: Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to remain patient and understanding in challenging situations.
A valid driver's licence and access to your own car is essential.
