x2 SEN Teacher's - Independent SEN School Location: Meldreth, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 (M1-UPS3) Hours: permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) Closing date: Friday 24th January 2025 at 12pm Our Specialist Partnership School is an independent Special day school which provides a highly specialist learning environment for students aged 6 to 19 who have a range of PMLD, MLD and SLD needs including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD and associated difficulties, who require an individualised, specialist approach.
Many of our students have complex medical needs and sensory/ physical impairments.
Our students are supported to manage sensory overload, anxiety, low self-esteem, low confidence, and difficulty with transitions which is often demonstrative through their behaviours.  The school are a well-resourced provision with exceptional fully inclusive facilities, including a Hydrotherapy pool and well-developed outdoor learning facilities.
We are fortunate to have our own full therapeutic team who work closely with class leaders in the development of our child centred curriculum.
Due to the continued increase in our student role and expansion of the school provision, we are currently looking for a SEN Teacher to join our NAS accredited specialist team to create better outcomes and life chances for our students in their preparation for adult life.  The post offers fantastic opportunities for an innovative SEN teacher with passion to bring further challenge and ambition to learning for learners with profound and complex needs.    The Role: We are looking for a passionate and skilled teacher to join our education team, where we are always striving to provide the highest quality of education and outcomes for our young people in preparation for adult life.
It will be your responsibility to plan and deliver high quality teaching and learning within a meaningful and engaging curriculum that stretches and challenges all learners within your class.  As a growing school, for the right candidate there could be opportunities for career development and progression.
