SEN Teacher - The JobWe are looking for a teacher for a KS1 or KS2 class for a Primary SEN school in Hounslow.This Hounslow SEN school offers excellent resources and facilities and has a fantastic reputation amongst staff and parents.They are flexible on either an immediate of January start and they provide a comprehensive induction for new staff.The Senior Leadership are well established, responsive to the needs and demands of the job and have a positive relationship with the wider staff team.The school is OfSTED Good and has been inspected in the last 18 monthsThe school have indicated that they can offer MPS-UPS salaries + SEN point based on experience (Outer London - Hounslow Borough)SEN Teacher - The ClassThe children have sensory needs, are mainly non-verbal and can show challenging behaviours.The children are working at what were the P levels, below the old National Curriculum Level 1.Many of the pupils are not yet verbal and use a range of communication supports (PECS/Makaton).The class is supported by 3 experienced and highly regarded Teaching Assistants who bring good energy, dedication, positivity and excellent knowledge of the students.SEN Teacher - Role and ResponsibilitiesThe role would involve planning, leading the class, completing reports etc.
