SEN Teacher - KS3 ASC We are working on behalf of a school in west Birmingham who are looking for a class teacher to cover one of their KS3 classes during the spring term.
The school caters for pupils with Autism and use elements of TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children) and SCERTS (Social Communication, Emotional Regulation, and Transactional Support) in our classroom practices.
We use Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) to support the communication of pupils who are unable to make their wants and needs known verbally.
