The school is seeking a SEN teacher to deliver high quality lessons to their students.
About the school: The school provides outstanding educational and personalised support for students across all key stages.
The needs of the young people you will be working with have severe learning difficulties or profound and multiple learning difficulties.
Many students may have additional needs or disabilities, such as autism, medical conditions and down syndrome.
Key responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with special educational needs Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs and learning styles Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO's and other staff to provide targeted support Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and staff Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students at all times Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies and procedures About you: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) Knowledge of a range of teaching strategies and techniques Sound knowledge and understanding special educational needs and strategies to support young people Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent team player and willing to get stuck in!
