SEN Teacher – Dartington, Devon (Permanent) A highly reputable SEMH/SEN school group is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN teacher to join their permanent team at their Dartington site.
This full-time role is available from January 2025, or sooner for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will work with students who have special educational needs, including social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
The school provides a supportive, nurturing environment where both staff and students thrive.
Key Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with SEN/SEMH students, ideally within a specialist or mainstream setting.
Strong understanding of individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
Ability to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment for students with complex needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and safeguarding policies.
