Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Needs Teacher to join their dynamic team in January 2025, their is the possibility for an earlier start for a handover period too.
In this role, you will be working with students at Key Stage 3/4 who have ASD and complex needs.
Your primary focus will be to provide tailored education, support, and guidance to help these students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons to meet the unique needs of students.Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Collaborate with support staff and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to education.Monitor and track student progress and make necessary adjustments to individual education plans.Foster a supportive and respectful relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.Maintain accurate records and reports.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.Experience working with students with ASD.Strong understanding of individualised education plans (IEPs) and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet student's needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A passion for special education and a commitment to helping students succeed.Benefits: Opportunity to work in a renowned SEN school with an "Outstanding" Ofsted rating.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Ongoing professional development opportunities.Team Teach TrainingIf you are a dedicated Special Needs Teacher with a passion for supporting your students, we would love to hear from you.
