Position Details: Role: SEN Teacher (Autism Specialism) Location: Colchester Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract Start Date: Immediate Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement tailored learning plans for children with Autism.
Work closely with support staff to provide a positive and nurturing environment.
Use creative and flexible teaching methods to engage students with varying needs.
Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to support pupils' progress.
Maintain a calm and structured classroom setting that promotes the emotional well-being of students.
Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant SEN teaching qualification.
Experience working with children with Autism, ideally within a specialist setting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
