As an SEN Teacher , you will be responsible for providing a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals to empower students and help them achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities Plan and deliver individualised lessons to students with special educational needs, ensuring they are accessible, engaging, and aligned with their personalised education plans (IEPs).
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters confidence.
Use innovative strategies and resources to meet the varying learning styles and needs of students.
Assess, track, and report on student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure students' holistic development.
Promote positive behaviour and implement effective classroom management strategies.
Support students' emotional and social development alongside their academic growth.
Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification is preferred, though experienced overseas-trained teachers are also encouraged to apply.
Proven experience working as an SEN Teacher or in a similar role within an SEN setting.
Strong knowledge of strategies for supporting students with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, staff, and families.
