SEN Teacher Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Secondary SEN provision in the Burnley area.
The provision provides education for pupils aged 11-16 with special educational needs including MLD, PMLD, Speech Language and Communication Needs, Autism and SEMH.
Important information Must hold a QTS/PGCE/ Higher Level Teaching qualification.
Deliver the KS3 curriculum in an engaging manner.
Offering strategies for the pupil to cope with high pressure situations.
Defuse challenging situations in a calm, timely manner.
Hours: 9am – 3pm Start date: January Pay: Dependent on skills/experience and expectations.
Ideally, the applicant must have experience supporting pupils with behaviours that challenge.
As the pupils can display high levels of challenging behaviour the applicant must be resilient.
