About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a school n Bristol.
This role is perfect for someone who is committed to providing high-quality, tailored education to students with special educational needs (SEN).
You will play a key role in creating a supportive and nurturing environment, enabling students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, and learning disabilities.
Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to track and support student progress.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other educational professionals to support student development.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and external agencies regarding student progress and welfare.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and support students in developing positive behaviour strategies.
Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience working with children with special educational needs, either in mainstream or specialist settings.
Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, curriculum adaptations, and behaviour management techniques.
Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills to engage and support students with diverse needs.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
Desirable: Additional qualifications or training in SEN, such as SENCO accreditation or ASD training.
Experience working with parents and external agencies to deliver joined-up support for pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
