This full-time role offers a permanent contract, ideal for someone passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
As an SEN Humanities Teacher, you will develop and deliver lessons that cater to students' individual needs, helping them to excel in subjects like History, Geography, and Religious Education.
You will work closely with support staff to foster an inclusive, structured, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons for students with SEN.
Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Support students in developing academic and social-emotional skills.
Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive student support.
Qualifications and Experience: Experience in teaching Humanities to SEN students is preferred.
Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and approaches to secondary education.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students, staff, and parents.
A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
