SEN Teaching Assistant – Newham – ASAP Start Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs?

This Newham-based school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with various learning needs across the school.
Working alongside a committed team, you will help provide tailored educational support to ensure each student has the tools they need to succeed.
Benefits: £450-500 per week Gain valuable experience in an SEN-focused role Ongoing training and development opportunities Join a supportive and collaborative school environment Excellent transport links across Newham and London   Role: Support students with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities Assist with creating and adapting lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students Provide 1:1 and small group support during lessons, helping students achieve their potential Support the emotional, social, and physical development of students Work closely with class teachers, SENCo, and other professionals to monitor and report student progress Help ensure a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere for all students   Requirements: A degree from a top 30 UK university, ideally in Psychology or a related field A strong desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach Previous experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude towards helping students   Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-time, term-time, until July 2025 Pay: £450-500 per week This is an excellent opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive school in Newham , where you'll have the chance to help shape the educational experience of students with SEN.
