SEN Support Staff Newcastle and North Tyneside Full-time, Temporary (with potential for long-term placement) £83 - £90 per day, depending on experience About the Role Protocol Education is seeking compassionate and dedicated SEN Support Staff to join a friendly, inclusive school in Newcastle.
This role is perfect for someone with a genuine passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Assist the classroom teacher in creating a positive, inclusive environment that meets each student's unique needs.
Support students with personal, social, and emotional development, encouraging positive behavior and social interactions.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and other professionals to implement individual learning plans and support strategies.
What We're Looking For: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, either in a school or similar setting.
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by SEN students and a commitment to providing patient, empathetic support.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
A proactive, flexible approach and a genuine passion for making a difference.
