  Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant (SEN Support) Location: Primary Schools Across Bristol Salary: Competitive (based on experience) Contract Type: Full-Time, Flexible Days   About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in primary schools across Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in education and want to gain experience working with children who need additional support.
No previous classroom experience is necessary, but a genuine interest in working with children is essential.
This role offers flexible working days, allowing you to balance your personal schedule while contributing to the success of young learners.
  Key Responsibilities: Assist children with SEN in class, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop essential skills.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to children with diverse needs.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support the classroom teacher in delivering effective lessons and activities.
Help with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
Encourage the social and emotional development of children.
Maintain a high standard of care and safeguarding at all times.
What We're Looking For: Experience working with children, ideally in a support or care role (experience with SEN is a bonus but not required).
A caring, patient, and empathetic attitude towards children.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexible and reliable, with a commitment to providing excellent support.
A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to adapt to different school environments and support a range of learning needs.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service.
Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £49.50, plus an annual subscription fee of £16 for the Update Service.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
