SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant Full-time position Special school SEMH & other SEN students 1 Primary & 1 Secondary role available Post half term start 8:30am - 3:15pm We work very closely with a fantastic special school based on the outskirts of Bath that are looking for 2 TA's to join either the primary or secondary site dependant on experience.
The school look after different special needs but are primary focused around SEMH students so the work can be challenging at times!
The challenging nature of the work though is really what appeals to the permanent staff who work their currently as it makes it so much rewarding.
The role The role involves a mixture of responsibilities, you essentially need to be a bit of an all rounder; general classroom support, 1-1 support, supporting the teacher with whatever they need, supporting students outside of the classroom, stepping in pastorally if required.
In terms of experience they are open to a range of applications, so whether you're a support worker with good SEN experience or a mainstream TA looking for a change - the school would love to hear from you.
