A mainstream primary school in Salford are looking for a teacher to support in a small SEN class they have supporting children in KS1.
The class consists of 6-8 children with Autism and Nurture needs.
Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for students with special educational needs (SEN) in accordance with the national curriculum.
Assess students' individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods to meet those needs.
Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with SEN. Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure the needs of SEN students are being met effectively.
Communicate regularly with parents, carers, and external professionals regarding students' progress and development.
Participate in individual education plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to the ongoing assessment and evaluation of students' progress.
Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in the field of special education.
Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Experience working with students with special educational needs.
Knowledge of the national curriculum and strategies for teaching students with SEN.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Working Conditions: Full-time position Based in Salford Primary School Salary range between £162.31 - £251.71 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
Regular interaction with students, parents, and external professionals.
