Role Overview: As an SEN Learning Support , you will work closely with students with a range of special educational needs.
Your main responsibilities will include supporting their learning, offering guidance with tasks, and helping to create an environment where every student feels comfortable and encouraged to engage fully in their education.
This role will also see you collaborating with teachers to tailor learning experiences to meet the needs of individual students.
Core Responsibilities of the SEN Learning Support: Support students with SEN on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, ensuring they fully participate in lessons.
Assist in creating and implementing personalized learning strategies to address the unique needs of each student.
Promote a welcoming and inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and empowered.
Offer both academic and emotional support to students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
Aid students in completing classroom activities, ensuring they have the tools and guidance to succeed.
Work with teachers to monitor and track students' progress, adjusting support as necessary.
Requirements of the SEN Learning Support: A strong desire to work with children who have special educational needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with teachers, students, and parents.
Previous experience in an educational or care-related role is an advantage but not essential.
A patient, empathetic nature with the ability to adjust approaches to meet diverse needs.
