SEN Learning Support Location: Portsmouth Rate: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-Time/Part-time Are you dedicated to supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a real difference in their educational journey?
GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Learning Support to join a welcoming school in Portsmouth .
This is your chance to impact students' lives positively and help them reach their full potential.
As an SEN Learning Support , you will provide essential support to students with SEN, ensuring they receive the guidance and assistance they need.
Your role as an SEN Learning Support will involve working closely with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities: Provide targeted one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, tailoring assistance to enhance learning.
Assist teachers in the delivery of engaging, effective lessons that meet diverse student needs.
Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
Track student progress and offer constructive feedback to help guide their learning journey.
Supervise and support students during break times and extracurricular activities, ensuring their well-being.
Contribute to a safe and stimulating learning space that encourages student growth and participation.
Requirements: Previous experience as an SEN Learning Support or in a similar role is advantageous.
Solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented approach.
Adaptability to respond to individual student needs effectively.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
Genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs and helping them thrive.
