GSL Education are seeking a committed Special Educational Needs (SEN) Learning Support to join a friendly and inclusive school in Hedge End .
As an SEN Learning Support , you will play an essential role in providing dedicated support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities: Deliver one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, adapting your approach to their needs.
Work alongside teachers to plan and execute effective lessons.
Create a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor each student's progress and provide constructive feedback.
Support students during break times, extracurricular activities, and transitions.
Contribute to a safe and engaging learning atmosphere for all students.
Requirements: Prior experience as an SEN Learning Support or in a similar role is beneficial.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
Flexibility to respond to the unique needs of each student.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
Passionate about working with children with special educational needs.
