The school look after students with a range of special needs which include ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia The school have classes of around 10 students and are flexible with candidates in regards to being placed in a class that is most appropriate to them and their strengths.
The role The role of LSA is fairly mixed so it will require you being flexible and adaptable.
They're such a lovely team there so being a naturally positive and patient personality is important! The role can naturally involve quite a bit of challenging behaviour so confidence in this area is important as well as experience in a school, though they are open to applications from support workers with the right special needs experience.
