- BH15, Dorset Prospero Teaching are working with an Good Ofsted rated SEN School based in BH15 recruiting an Early Years / KS1 Teaching Assistant.
The school are looking for individuals that are supportive, non-judgemental, patient, easy to talk to, positive and flexible.
You must be able to speak to pupils in a manner which encourages and supports them, enabling you to build trusting relationships.Previous experience of working with young people is desirable.
Experience with autistic children would be an advantage.
A team player with patience, understanding and a willingness to develop is needed.
Working hours are 9.00am - 15.30pm Location - BH15, Dorset Position - Early Years Teaching Assistant Start date - ASAP Contract type - Long-Term Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing Full time/part time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - GBP13.09 per hour EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Relevant Qualifications Desirable e.g.
Teaching Assistant or a Level 2 CACHE Diploma in child related.
Previous experience working in a UK school or with children of a similar age Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
