Sen Class Teacher

Job Title: SEN Teacher Location: Stansted Abbotts, Near Ware Salary: M1 - UPS 1- £31,150 £45,646 plus £2,539 SEN allowance depending on experience Hours: Permanent - Full Time - Term time only Interview date : week commencing 9th December We are currently seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join a Specialist School and sports college supporting students aged 2-10 with severe learning difficulties and other complex mental and physical needs.
Therole: The role offers the successful candidate to gain support and a personalised CPD to develop leadership skills as well as receiving mentorship from the senior leadership team.
You will be supported to meet the threshold of standards and have a key input in the wider curriculum and staff development.
Key responsibilities: Responsible for the long, medium and short term planning of the curriculum and delivery of lessons Management of pupil behaviour in accordance with the schemes of work Mazimise Teaching and Learning through effective management of human resources Monitoring of pupils progress through target setting and writing of individual education plans Assess and report on development for EHCP's Liaise with other professionals: Educational Psychologists, Speech andLanguage Therapists, Advisory Teachers, Medical Professionals etc.
