SEN Administrative Support SEN School Hammersmith A dynamic SEN school in Hammersmith is seeking a dedicated SEN Administrative Support staff member to assist with the daytoday operations of the schools special education program.
This role is essential in ensuring that the administrative functions run smoothly allowing the educational team to focus on delivering highquality support to students with special educational needs.
Role Highlights Fulltime position providing vital administrative support to SEN staff and students ensuring a wellorganized and efficient work environment.
Manage records and documentation related to student support and services including Individual Education Plans (IEPs) progress reports and attendance records to facilitate effective communication among staff and families.
Assist in organizing training and professional development events for staff coordinating schedules venues and materials to enhance the skills and knowledge of the educational team.
Act as a point of contact for parents caregivers and external agencies responding to inquiries and providing information about the schools SEN services and resources.
Support the SEN team in preparing documentation for meetings including taking minutes and compiling reports to ensure accurate records of discussions and action points.
Assist with the coordination of school events such as parentteacher meetings open days and workshops ensuring that logistics are handled efficiently for a positive experience for all participants.
Implement and maintain filing systems (both digital and physical) for easy access to important documents and information related to the SEN program.
Utilize school management software and other digital tools to track student data appointments and staff training schedules ensuring that all information is uptodate and accessible.
Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to SEN administrative processes helping to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency within the school.
Experience & Qualifications Previous experience in administrative roles preferably within an educational setting where familiarity with special educational needs is beneficial.
Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities in a busy environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and preparing documentation ensuring compliance with school policies and regulations.
Proficiency in using office software including word processing spreadsheets and database management as well as familiarity with school management systems.
A collaborative and approachable attitude with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of staff students and families.

A current and clear Enhanced DBS check is required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students in your care.
