Job Title:     Semi-Skilled Workshop Engineer   Location:    Elland Hours:        M-F 7.30am-4.00pm Shift:          Days / 38.75hrs Salary:       £25,000  Benefits:     Pension: 6% employer, 5% employee, 28 days holiday (including statutory), death in service 3x annual salary.
Overall purpose of the Semi-Skilled Workshop Engineer   Due to expansion we are seeking a semi-skilled person to perform a variety of tasks which will predominantly include the strip down of shunter units for salvage and scrap.
For this role we are looking for an individual whom has some motor/mechanical experience.
Responsibilities of the Semi-Skilled Workshop Engineer   Operating machinery and tooling in a safe manner adhering to health & safety protocols.
Working within a team to assist and support colleagues where required.
There will be a large amount of manual handling involved within this role.
Follow instructions and guidance from colleagues.
Maintain high standards, keeping a clean and tidy work area.
Undertake such other duties as reasonably required.
Removing parts from vehicles with care in-order to identify salvage or scrap.
Semi-Skilled Workshop Engineer experience required     •    Some mechanical experience Knowledge and confidence in using hand tools, axle stands, jacks etc in a safe manner Forklift licence Crane operation experience/licence Full Valid UK driving licence            If this role sounds of interest please apply to this advert INDPB  ''
