Semi Skilled Operative

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Semi-Skilled Operative to join our clients leading offsite building provider.
Responsibilities The primary role of a semi-skilled operative is cutting timber or metal wall panels, roof cassette and associated project kits, and assembling them ready for dispatch.
You will be responsible for assembling manufactured components to agreed design specification and tolerance.
Comply with all quality control and quality assurance instructions to ensure the product is manufactured right first time, every time.
Comply with all safety regulations e.g.
PPE, walkways, safe manual handling techniques looking for and suggesting opportunities to improve safety systems.
Ensure that all tools and equipment in use are in a serviceable condition, using the tools and equipment in the right way, for the right job and putting factory tools back to set locations at the end of each shift.
Ensure good housekeeping standards are achieved in your area.
Qualifications Experiance within Trade or Carpentry Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
