Details of the offer

Semi Senior Altrincham £30,000 – £35,000 Sometimes being happy at work is the most important thing; and if that's your top priority we are working with a brilliant firm of accountants in Altrincham that are looking to add to their team.
It's a firm that really cares about their staff; they're not huge….there's 14 in the office but that means it has that personal touch.
You're not just a number, in fact it's the opposite; your colleagues will take the time to get to know you – they will have a genuine interest in how you are doing inside and outside of work – and will be there to support and help you with anything you need.
The owners will treat you well, they understand the importance of the team feeling valued and listened to.
Your reviews won't be talking about KPI's and targets; it will be focused on what you do and don't enjoy in the workplace – and what can be done to make that better.
Of course there is still a job to be done (and done well), but by looking after you and you feeling good in your role the work part of the job tends to look after itself.
Based in Altrincham which has great transport links the role will be focussed on producing the year end accounts; there's plenty of client contact and opportunities for you to really add some value to the businesses you are supporting.
Core duties will include: Responsible for preparing the year end accounts for a range of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Preparing and reviewing annual financial statements for a range of businesses, detecting inaccuracies and inconsistencies Preparation of drafted tax computations, ensuring HMRC's guidance has been followed Assisting in budget preparation and preparing detailed financial reports Bookkeeping including Inputting sales and purchase invoices for clients Dealing with bank and cash transactions as well as reconciling all company accounts, including credit cards and loan accounts Processing staff expenses for clients – inputting receipts and posting bank payments against them Producing accurate ledger entries with Sage, Xero and QuickBooks Improving accuracy of financial data by conducting thorough checks and balances Ensuring compliance with accounting standards through diligent record keeping To be considered for the role you will need to have previous UK experience at a firm of accountants (ideally a minimum of 2 years).
