Semi Senior Accountant

Based in Margate TPF Recruitment is working on behalf of a great local firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking for an Accounts Assistant/ Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in a general practice position across accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT.
Our client is a multisited firm of chartered accountants and they have been established in the Kent market for many years.
Theyre looking for an Accounts Assistant/ Semi Senior or somebody who is studying the AAT or ACCA to join them in a progressive and rewarding career.
Given the nature of the business there are great internal progression prospects on offer too.
You will be responsible for: Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage Assisting with management accounts production Personal taxation corporate taxation and VAT returns General bookkeeping duties using Sage Xero or QuickBooks Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees Requirements You will have 15 years experience within an accountancy practice.
You will be studying AAT / ACCA or be qualified by experience.
You will have handson experience in accounts tax and VAT preparation.
