Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with a reputable all-boys SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Horsham, currently seeking full-time Teaching Assistants.
This is a rewarding role for individuals who can promote positive behaviour and provide support across a range of subjects and activities.
Key Responsibilities: Build strong, professional relationships with pupils to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
Assist in various subjects and activities, offering tailored support to meet the needs of individual students.
Work closely with teachers and other support staff to implement behaviour management strategies.
Foster a nurturing and safe environment that helps students with SEMH needs grow academically and personally.
Encourage and guide pupils in developing life skills and social skills.
Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour is advantageous.
A patient, resilient, and compassionate attitude.
Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm).
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage positively with students.
