Permanent SEMH Teacher – Bury St Edmunds – January 2025 (or sooner) A highly reputable SEMH/SEN school group is seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEMH Teacher to join their permanent team at their Bury St Edmunds site.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with SEMH/SEN needs Foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists Develop and implement personalized learning plans (EHCPs) Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience in teaching students with SEMH/SEN needs, ideally within a specialist setting Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families Dedication to supporting the emotional, social, and academic growth of students Excellent communication and teamwork skills This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a well-respected school group with a strong commitment to professional development.
