SEMH Teacher – Barnstaple (Permanent Role) A highly regarded SEMH/SEN school group is seeking an experienced and passionate SEMH teacher to join their dedicated team at their Barnstaple site.
This is a permanent position, starting in January 2025 or sooner for the right candidate.
The school provides exceptional support for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, fostering an inclusive environment where each child is encouraged to thrive.
They are looking for a teacher who is committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of students who require additional emotional and behavioural support.
Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Proven experience working with SEMH/SEN students Strong classroom management skills with an empathetic approach Ability to differentiate learning to meet individual needs Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children The successful candidate will join a supportive team, benefiting from ongoing professional development opportunities and a caring, inclusive working environment.
