This full-time permanent position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
As an SEMH English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons designed to support students' academic and emotional development.
You will work closely with a supportive team of staff to ensure each child receives personalised learning and care in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver tailored English lessons to meet the needs of students with SEMH.
Collaborate with support staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
Provide one-to-one and group support for students with SEMH needs.
Build positive relationships with students, parents, and external professionals.
Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience working with students with SEMH or behavioural difficulties.
Strong classroom management skills and a passion for helping students thrive.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
