The Plough is a beautiful pub located in the foothills of The Surrey Hills in between Leatherhead and Guildford.
Effingham is a picturesque village, with a real mixture of traditional older houses and a handful of new estates that are being developed surrounding the village, along with a parade of independent shops.
The pub is going to be benefiting from significant investment in January 2025, to help accentuate the traditional pub charm of the building and to elevate the large outdoor space.
As you walk in the front doors, the bar is in front of you, with a small seating area to the right.
To the left, the pub opens up with a dining area, split across a couple of distinct areas.
Whilst to the rear of the pub, the garden opens up across the length of the pub to provide a beautiful, picturesque area that is perfect for enjoying refreshing long drinks, or a ploughmans and pint of ale!
