Our client is a major global law firm with an established and longstanding reputation in the UK, where they are headquartered.The firm contains a specialist fintech innovation and alternative finance team which specializes in a variety of differently modelled debt funding deals for fintech clients which have outgrown venture debt.
The team's work includes a mix of private securitisations, similar deals outside the Securitisation Regulations, and forward flow deals.The team is now looking for an additional member in the London office.
The right candidate will be:A mid-level (probably at least 3 years' PQE) banking and finance Lawyer;Experienced in structuring and Securitisation Regulations;Interested in working closely with clients who are purposeful and changing their industry;Excited by the prospect of being part of a team that is friendly and curious.Prior experience of the fintech industry and the specific products with which the team works is not required, but you will require:A strong academic background, solid training (preferably from a City or international firm), and black letter law skills;The ability and experience to develop productive working relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels; A commitment to professional development and becoming a subject matter expert, as well as the aptitude to work on technically complicated transactions.Foreign-qualified candidates with suitable PQE and relevant experience will certainly be of interest.
