We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Secured Funding Manager .
In this role, you will :   Support the funding programs within HSBC UK including the Regulated Covered Bond (RCB) programme, Bank of England facilities under the Sterling Monetary Framework (SMF) as well as the existing Euro Commercial Paper and Medium Term Notes issuance programme.
Navigate the execution of RCB program tests, ensuring compliance with key financial regulations and providing regular reports to regulators and rating agencies.
Perform the top up and ongoing management of asset pools, ensuring that assets meet programme requirements.
Assist with audits and assurance reviews, ensuring that funding programmes processes are fully compliant with industry standards and internal risk and control framework.
Assist in development of new funding programmes in new asset classes.
Collaborate and engage with other areas of Global Finance as well as Markets Treasury (MKTY), Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) and Commercial Banking (CMB).
Support wider liquidity team in performing analysis in delivery of regulatory requirements and Management Information.
This is an exciting role for someone looking to build a career in Treasury or adding Treasury knowledge to your overall commercial skillset in banking.
The role is part of the HSBC UK Treasury team.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:   Experience working in relevant environment/s, in relevant markets covering treasury, securitisations, structured finance, and Regulated Covered Bonds (RCB).
Demonstrable Funding and/ or Liquidity management experience.
Demonstrable experience of financial analysis/ modelling and business partnering skills.
Collaborative, engaging, credible and methodical; being able to bring the numbers and narrative to life (e.g., preparing and presenting management information packs and investor reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regulatory expectations).
Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders (all levels of seniority, businesses, and geographies).
The base location for this role will be Birmingham  and with a hybrid working pattern.
