We are currently looking for a Section Leader To ensure the maintain a clean and tidy working environment ensuring health and safety standards are maintained and improved.
Ensure stock flow is managed proactively to and from the stores area correctly, ensuring the flow from intake and production is managed proactively.
To work in collaboration and cross functionally across all Operations through the Supply Chain and departments.
Work only 7 days in 14 with our 4 on, 3 off, 3 on, 4 off shift working pattern Core Responsibilities Ensure Health and safety is followed and adhered to.
Use the Papaya system to record all accident and incidents, as well as all health and safety behavior conversations.
Promote and uphold the clean as you go policy.
Manual handling technique to be followed.
Planning and deployment of the day-to-day staffing levels Absent management and controls including return to works Performance management of the team against set KPI's Management of the day to day picking process to ensure stock is supplied to the lines in a timely manner.
Ensure line down time is always minimized to ensure cost is kept to a minimum Daily free space checks to be conducted and findings to be analyzed and feedback given where required Accurate scanning of stock to and from the warehouse Conducting/managing stock counts and investigations where needed Manage the teams to ensure we have cover during the day including break times.
Support with the management of the Sin Bin and INV process to ensure maximum stock availability Liaise with planning for stock issues to minimize line downtime Working as a team with the other leaders on shift, supporting them to maintain stock accuracy and integrity Over see any other process such as the wholesale process, ensure the team is trained to conduct these processes.
MHE control and compliance ensuring that the fleet is correctly operated and report any faults/defects via the correct process.
Ensure all MHE is clean and free from stickers and rubbish.
Ensure the flow of material and waste on the back of the lines promotes a safe and clean area to always work in.
Carry out investigations as required Carry out 1-2-1 and yearly appraisal for the team What you can already do Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, whilst maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Good standard of education, specifically in English and Maths.
A keen eye for detail.
Flexible approach to work.
Work on own initiative.
Team player able to focus on departmental goals whilst respecting the needs of others.
Demonstrate eagerness in personal development.
Have warehouse stock management experience/knowledge.
