Job summary To support the co-ordination of the administration arrangements to provide a high quality supportive secretarial service to the General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Head of Nursing and Clinical Director.
To work independently and be accountable for organising/prioritising own workload to ensure deadlines are achieved.

To support the Directorate General Manager, Head of Nursing and wider senior management team with the Directorate of Medicine and to provide efficient, accurate, and prompt secretarial support.
Exceptional organisational and leadership skills, excellent judgement, diplomacy, and tact are essential attributes for this post.
Main duties of the job The post holder will be a key member of the Directorate team providing an accurate and confidential administration service to the Directorate and its associated work streams.
The post holder will support the Directorate Management Team (DMT) and other health professionals with the creation of best practice and processes, supporting diary management, workload and co-ordination of appointments and admissions related information for patients and carers.Applications may be submitted in Welsh.

GCSE passes in English and Maths Knowledge of specialist medical terms.
Experience Essential Knowledge of a range of secretarial and administrative processes and systems.
Knowledge and experience to deal with non-routine issues.
Experience of working in a busy office environment.
Competently communicates professionally and effectively with all levels of staff both verbally and in writing.
Proficient in use of Microsoft office applications.
Experienced in planning and organising and prioritise own workload.
Desirable Experience of working within the NHS
